Kutmasater Spaz is one of Hawaii’s premier re-mix disc jockeys who has been practicing his craft for the past 25 years.  He has been pleasing crowds at clubs around the state for years and continues to delight crowds in the thousands with his unique music blends and emcee showmanship.

Aside from laying down the cuts on the turntables, rocking the mic at concerts, and hosting a TV Show, Spaz, spends countless hours, committing himself to touching the lives of youth, of students, of strangers and even to family and friends with his positive message.

Through humor, adversity and strength, Spaz himself has overcome many obstacles in his life that he shares with those he encounters.  This message, along with a positive, alcohol-free, drug-free and tobacco-free lifestyle is what he has promoted over the past 20 years.

It was in his youth that he began to hone his skills as a re-mixer/DJ and MC.  And the rest, as they say, is history.

Kutmaster Spaz is now a nationally recognized re-mixer/DJ by the music industry. His cutting edge mixing skills, showmanship and keen sense of music programming has lead to many opportunities including a position as a Club Chart Reporter for Billboard Magazine. A title only given to 150 top DJ’s in the U.S.

Spaz has also graced the covers of such magazines as “MidWeek,” “Honolulu Weekly”, G MAG, Pau Hana Weekly and “Elan` – Hawaii Style Mag”. He has also appeared in national and international magazines including the Source, Street Beat, Industry Insider, Adrenalin (UK) and Low Rider making Spaz one of the most well known DJ entertainers in Hawaii today.

In 2003 Spaz signed with Time Warner to be the Executive Producer and Host for a the hit T.V. Show on OC16 called DIS-N-DAT. DIS-N-DAT is about music, entertainment, people, places, food and trends in Hawaii all tied together with comedy and a positive message. The show can be seen in Hawaii on Wednesday night at 10:00 pm on Oceanic Time Warner Cable’s OC16
Spaz’s favorite type of food is Japanese. His favorite recipe is “bake potato casserole”  (his own creation). But he is always excited to attend a back yard Luau with home made Hawaiian Food!
